Community Involvement

in Community Presence

Establishing a reputation in your area as the “so and so” expert will go a long way toward building trust in you and your business. With my Story Time Felts business, I have become known as the “felt lady” in my county. I participate in local festivals, craft shows, and vendor events. I donate my products to fundraising events, and I am visible in community organizations such as the schools and mother’s clubs. My car has a web decal and a business card holder, I’ve placed ads in the school yearbooks, put my business cards on bulletin boards in coffee shops, and even pass out information at the local parks. I also list my upcoming events in community calendars online. In future posts, I will share with you how to find these types of local resources and establish a presence right in your area!
