Google Places Map Page Prep Sheet

My Business Presence on the Google Places MapFollowing are items you can prepare ahead of time before starting your Google Places account so your business can have a listing on the Google Maps.

Simply fill out this sheet then visit Google Places and enter it in your listing.

It’s recommended that you fill out the items in the Google form completely to get the best ranking on the results pages.

For example, they allow you to put 10 pictures, so find 10 pictures. You can choose 5 categories, so choose 5 categories. When your page is considered to be 100% complete it will have more prominence in the search results.

Great tips Karen. Now I have even more things on my to do list. I actually started a Google Places page and was a bit overwhelmed and unsure of exactly what I should list. Thanks for the tips!
