How to Stop Game Requests on Facebook

Frustrated with FacebookIf you get a lot of notifications on your Facebook where Facebook Friends are inviting you to play games, and you really don’t want to, you may want to stop them from coming in. Instead of posting “please don’t send me game requests!” which your Friends probably won’t see or be able to do anything about, you can simply block certain (or all) game requests.

What most people don’t realize is when you play a game, many of them ask you to connect with your Facebook – that is how you sign into the program. Then since it is more fun to play with friends, it will ask you to invite your Facebook friends to play. Sometimes you can invite specific Facebook friends but many of them simply connect to all of your Friends in your Friend list. So asking everyone to stop adding you to games may not work since the person actually may not be able to remove you from their requests – if they even remember which of their friends asked not to be invited every time!

So it is up to you as the game request recipient to simply block requests from games. In the following video I show you how to easily do this so that you never receive game requests on Facebook again.

Scared me for a minute there when you pointed to my notification in your list. 🙂
