Throughout my years as a direct selling leader and Director of Consultant Development, before I began speaking on social media independently, I had a lot of fun coming up with incentives/contests for my own team or organization as well as for the company. A BINGO contest was one of the most popular and January is a great time to run one. Here is how I did it, as an example, but you could change out the tasks for whatever behavior you want to encourage.
The main idea is to have everyone doing something from each aspect of their business. This way, those who are most comfortable selling will need to experience a sponsoring activity, or those who shy away from making phone calls will need to do some. January is a great time to hold a BINGO as it moves them into action right away after the busy holidays, so there’s no time to slow down.
For our prizes we would give something they could not get any other way, such as a logo shirt. This created a powerful incentive to participate! After each accomplishment have them post in your company/team Facebook group reporting what they did so others will be encouraged. As someone “wins BINGO” be sure to announce it in the group as well! Note that much of the reporting is on the “honor system” as the consultants self-report that they have completed each task. I asked for details to avoid any cheating!

|Hold 4 appointments with school or childcare professionals.||Sell at least $100 each week this month.||Hold an Opportunity Night party/ meeting.||Hold a team meeting for just your downline, live or online.||Contact each of your direct downline to check in and support them.|
|Book 3 parties from a home party.||Gather $500 in non-party orders throughout the month.||Hold a New Start training meeting.||Partner with a buddy and check in/ support each other once a day this month.||Contact your upline once a week to report how things are going or to get help.|
