My daughter, Alia, is a state finalist in the National American Miss pageant in California. She will be competing in San Jose in June for the state title in the Teen category and hopefully move onto the national competition in November. The fifth interview is with Mark LePera who I met at a recent Direct Selling Edge conference. Mark and his partners have created an innovative network marketing company around educating consumers to crete wealth through Real Estate.  I’ll let Mark take it from here! THANKS MARK!

What is the name of your business and what do you do?

Global Real Estate Education Network “GREEN”- We offer daily, affordable, common sense, real estate education and a platform to network globally via 21st century technology.

How or why did you decide to start your business?

In Real estate, you need two things: Education & Networking. We saw a need and we built our business to fill it. A Win-win for all.

How does your business make a difference for your clients?

Our clients are everything. If they are not prosperous, everyone loses. We teach the team concept. We teach communication. We strive to attain a culture of shared ideas with like-minded people.

What is unique about you or your business when compared to your competitors?

At the investor clubs and broker offices I speak, there seems to be no “club” or “association”, it’s a room of hundreds of “individual” investors all working independently. We train our members to pool resources, not just money but specialize in your particular field. If you’re good at finding but not fixing houses, team with one who can etc. No one can be good at everything.

Who are your ideal customers or what is the demographic/target of your business?

All real estate investors, agents, brokers, newbie’s, are potential members. We give global platforms to speakers and trainers in many fields, as we are always looking to grow. And given we are also a MLM company, marketers, sales, and social media people are always in great demand. We have career opportunities for all.

What is your company’s mission?

Our goal is to provide a platform of education, incentives, and life skills in the real estate field to successfully start, if necessary, promote, and profit from your own real estate investment or brokerage business.

 I love helping people. Having just received a Master’s of Pastoral Theology, I enjoy prison ministry and helping families start their own businesses in whatever field they have talent. But now my time is limited to launching this global company which will help thousands of families earn a extra source of income.

What 3 pieces of advice would you give to other business owners?

Be fair. Be honest. Be generous

Do you have any advice for the teens of today, as they navigate their way to adulthood?

Total honesty: If you lose someone’s trust, it never comes back.

Total Loyalty: Having another’s back earns great respect.                 

Diligence: If you are going to start something, finish it 100%.                        

Always keep learning: NEVER think you are smart enough.
