I absolutely can't stand when people are always on their Blackberry or iPhone! I am not on it constantly but I am out and about a lot, and if a couple hours have gone by, and I know I will not be back home to get on the computer for a while, it comes in very handy to get on and check emails for anything I can handle while I am out, or pop onto FB or Twitter to look for replies etc. I enjoy my me-time too so I get that! Everyone's situation will be different. Even if you get a smartphone it doesn't mean you have to use it all the time. But if using it while I am at Target means that I get to spend more down time at home, or time with my kids, or time outside etc. it's worth it. It all depends on your situation! I'm learning lots of new stuff from you! Question: I'm still in the stone ages with my cell phone. It's just a phone, no internet. I'm really torn as to whether to spend the extra $$$ every month for an internet plan --- it's not sooo much the money because hey, I can make the money. But with all those stolen moments am I going to feel obligated to be plugged in all the time? I ENJOY the half hour mindless wait at the doctor's office--- with three year old twins, I don't get a lot of me time and I wonder if I'm going to be forcing myself all the time to hop onto my blackberry every time I'm in line at Target instead of just standing there, people watching and appreciating me-time.
