I am frequently asked where I list all of the events I am involved in and I thought I’d share some of the sites I use. For my Story Time Felts business I often have open houses or vendor events, or I participate in craft shows or multi-vendor showcases. For my role as DSWA Chapter President and as Meetup Organizer for North Bay Webify, I have recurring meetings and special events that I like to promote online. And for My Business Presence, I participate in teleclasses and webinars that need to be promoted, or I have clients who hire me to promote theirs.
Following is a list of bookmarks for places that allow you to list your event (almost all of them are free) or teleclass either locally or nationally. Simply visit the site, click on Events or Calendar and fill out the required information. Of course there are also your local newspaper calendars and classifieds. If you have some links to share, please post in the comments! Part of enhancing your business presence is to show up in your community, and hosting events is a great way to gain exposure as well!
Some of these will lead to local Sonoma County or San Francisco Bay Area sites but many have divisions in other areas so check them out!
