    Not sure what you are going to share but I know one thing that totally turns me off as a buyer (and fellow direct seller) is having people constantly hitting me with their ads, and more ads. ANd the biggest sin of all, in my opinion, is begging for “the last $10 I need to win this, or my upline gave me a challenge please help me win!” REALLY? Do you think that works? And makes you look anywhere near like a professional?

    I just listened in on your training call tonight about the 5 big social media mistakes in direct selling. It was a good reminder to treat others as you would want to be treated. I just signed up with a direct sales company a week ago and I am not very computer savvy. I have been trying to set up my business/fan facebook page and link it to my personal facebook page. I have watched your “how to” video 3 times to get it started but I still keep getting stuck on the 2nd step where you pick the category. The company is organizing products, so do I pick, Local Business/Place or Company -Organization- Institution, or Brand/Product, or Cause/Community. All of these choices have been used by other consultants within the same company I am signed up under. So that is why I am confused. Maybe it doesn’t really make that big of a difference? I just want to do the right thing. I have been trying to set this facebook page up for 5 days. Help!

      Hi Kellie! I admire you for getting out there and learning all you can! The category isn’t that critical but I just found out today that the Brand/Product category is able to be tagged by others so I would choose that one – in case someone say takes a pic of you at a vendor fair, and wants to tag you. I don’t know, but it is a feature apparently not available to other categories which I was surprised by. For the most part though it doesn’t really matter!
